Headstone Unveiling for Pvt. Charles Sigmund (1847-1928)

Charles Sigmund was a soldier in the Civil War, a piano tuner, a cabinet maker, and a brother, father, and husband.
In early April, the Sigmund family discovered that he was buried in an unmarked grave at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Yeadon, PA. On Saturday, October 15 at 11 a.m. we will unveil Charles Sigmund’s new headstone! (Rain date: October 16)
The event will feature a performance by the Philadelphia Brigade band, honor guard, Sons of Union Veterans, historical speakers, refreshments, and a commemorative souvenir.
